Our Mission: 

Racing For Kids Charities provides financial support to physically, emotionally, or economically needy children in Erie, PA and the surrounding counties in Pennsylvania and New York. 

Founded in 2007, RFK focused its efforts on a unique one-day fund raising event. The Racing For Kids Charity Golf Classic was held at the Upper Course of Peek ‘N Peak Resort in May 2007. It was followed by an awards dinner, sports merchandise auction, and a night of racing at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, PA. These events, with the help of local celebrities and business sponsors, raised $40,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. After expenses, this money made it possible to make a donation and grant wishes to three children with life threatening conditions. See their stories on the “The Kids” section of our site.

Our charity is enjoying tremendous growth as we move into our second year. This year’s events will be very similar to last year’s. We invite you to register as a golfer, come out to the VIP Party at the Speedway, or participate as a volunteer.
